Xiang-feng

Ok, so first I bet you're wondering why my lineart looks fuzzy. Well, I found this technique that I thought would save me the time of having to retrace all of my lines. Didn't quite turn out as I'd hoped, but after I touched it up and compared to the tutorial I took it from, it wasn't that bad, and I wanted it done soon, so it stuck. Besides, I figured it kind of gave the pic a more "ancient" look.

Now then, this fierce-looking girl is yet another new OC, this time from the Avatar world. It's for a RP group on Gaia. The setting takes place after Aang dies, with the new Avatar. Here's her info:

Name: Xiang-feng
Age: 15
Element: Fire
Bio: Xiang-feng's name means "flying phoenix" in Chinese. Her parents named her that for her naturally red hair. She and her twin sister journeyed to the Spirit World for advice after their parents mysteriously disappeared. While there, they got into an argument because her sister was sick and tired of Xiang-feng acting just like her. She didn't want that just because they were twins; she found it annoying. The evil spirit opposites of Ying and Yang, Gnay and Niy, overheard them. Since their goal is creating inbalance, they made Xiang-feng the opposite of her sister: pure evil. Now, her goal is to hunt down and kill the new Avatar. She is very precise, determined, calculated, and vain. Travel is made easy by her pet dragon.
